Dream interpretation without superstition
A dream is not a message in cipher. It is something you lived, in your own images. Sorvatis reads it that way — and then remembers.
Begin with one dreamWhy a dream is not a dictionary
A dream dictionary answers a question nobody actually asked: what does water mean? The water in your dream is not the water in anyone else’s. It arrives carrying the swim you took at eleven, or the flooded kitchen, or a sea you have never seen and return to anyway.
Sorvatis holds no table of fixed meanings, because no such table exists. The same image can be relief in one life and dread in another, and that difference is not a detail. It is the whole of it.
Superstition asks the wrong question
Superstition treats a dream as a forecast: a sign of what is coming, a warning to be decoded before it is too late. It is an old habit and an understandable one — the images arrive with urgency, and urgency looks a great deal like prophecy.
But a dream says nothing about tomorrow. It says something about the person who dreamt it, on the night they dreamt it. Sorvatis will not tell you what is going to happen. It has nothing to say about the future, and it says so plainly.
And yet dreams matter
Refusing prophecy is not the same as calling a dream meaningless. Something in you chose those images, that night, out of everything it might have chosen instead.
That choice is real. It is not random and it is not a code — it is closer to handwriting. Read once, it tells you little. Read across months, it begins to look like something.
The dream is evidence
Sorvatis treats each dream as evidence rather than as an answer. Evidence does not announce its own meaning. It accumulates, and it can be checked.
So the first dream is read for what it holds — the people, the places, what you felt, the images that stayed. Nothing is claimed beyond what that one night can carry.
What returns becomes visible
The second dream is where it starts. A face that came back. A room you have been in before. A feeling that arrived again without being invited.
Recurrence is the one thing a single dream cannot show you, and the one thing a kept archive can. Sorvatis notices what returns and shows you when the archive has earned it — never before.
You are the story
The dream is the evidence. The person is the story. Sorvatis does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not stand in for a therapist or a doctor.
It is a mirror, not an authority. What a pattern means is yours to say. The work of Sorvatis is to make sure the pattern is actually there, and that you can see it.
Beginning with one dream
You do not need to remember it perfectly. A fragment is enough — the part that stayed.
Write it down while it is still close. Sorvatis reads that one, and keeps it. What returns will find you later.
You do not need to understand it yet. You only need to keep it.
